I’ve waited my whole life for this.

My name is Sarah, a scientist by pedigree who landed in the world of sales leadership. Although a lucrative career, I closed the chapter on the corporate world after more than 2 decades to pursue a passion that has spanned my lifetime.

Sounds a bit nuts, right? 

​

While I am grateful for the professional life I had, the reality is that it was only permissible to present half of me. The other half had to stay suppressed because it didn’t fit the image of a corporate leader, and thriving in that industry meant playing the game. Even knowing the boundaries, I did sometimes “break character” …sometimes it landed, but other times, not so much. I did love the roles I held, the mission at hand, and the relationships I made along the way, but there was still the raging fire to chase my dream.

Let’s be honest…my authentic life is far more interesting and a hell of a lot more fun. A basic principle in chemistry is that “like attracts like,” so naturally, I am surrounded by the most fabulously ridiculous people who appreciate life’s absurdities as much as I do.

​

This page is homage to those people in my life, my zoo of critters, and the city I love and call home.
